Access

Accessibility

Property evidence should be usable beyond a single screen, device or way of navigating.

Our approach

We aim to make upgraded-intelligence.com usable with keyboard navigation, screen readers, browser zoom and common assistive technologies, following WCAG 2.2 AA principles where practicable.

The site uses semantic headings, visible focus states, text alternatives, skip navigation, labelled controls and downloadable tables alongside visual research.

Known limitations

The UK Property Atlas is a dense interactive map. Its local-authority shapes and drag or zoom controls can be harder to use with some assistive technologies or at high magnification. The same area measures are published on individual text-led area profile pages, reachable through Atlas search and the Open full area profile link.

Some research charts summarise large datasets visually. Their core findings, method, limitations and relevant data table or download are provided in the publication where available.

Alternative formats and feedback

If you need a publication, data extract or explanation in a more accessible format, email hello@theupgradeauthority.co.uk. Tell us the page, the format you need and any assistive technology involved. We will respond as promptly as we can.

We also welcome reports of barriers. Please include the page address and what you were trying to do so we can investigate it.
