Keeping the yield comparison in the same month
The Bristol profile shows a gross yield proxy of 6.4% for August. It uses August monthly rent of £1,883 and the August sale price of £353,596. This compares area averages rather than the same homes and excludes financing, maintenance, tax and periods without a tenant. It is not a return for an individual property.
The new official figures are available in the UK Property Atlas. See the latest rental observation releases, each with its own observation date.
